The song is as nostalgic as an Appalachian skyline on a midwinter afternoon, yet the punkish piece also reverberates like a rusty railtrack. The musical groove on this is deeper and wilder than a mosh-pit held inside a moon-crater… with unyielding pounding percussion. This is rockin’ fantastic!

Tyler explains, “‘Bloodshot Baby’ is our tip of the hat to some of the original pioneers of rock and roll. Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee… Those guys sounded like they were having the most fun, and we wanted in. We aren’t tryin’ to reinvent the wheel, but we figured we’d at least give it a good spin!”
