Pop/folk singer-songwriter Katey Laurel from Denver, Colorada, USA has announced the release of her new single co-written with Dave Hedin. “Hurricane” is taken from the upcoming new album “Periscope” produced by British producer Warren Huart - (The Fray, Aerosmith) – and expected out in early 2014.

Amidst a stormy grumble of drums and their wafering rhythms, the crystalized and sweetly gingerish vocal sits midribs between spindles of lightly strummed strings and thumby bass-notes.
This is an entrancing elixir of gold leafed keyboards, honeyed harmonies and deliciously heartfelt lyrics. And a strikingly beautiful piece.
