Cafe Lanai are a duo.
Michael Brock and Forever (June Moon) from Vancouver, Canada.
They are set to release their first EP “Paradise” very soon. They call their sounds Tropical House.

We listened to debut single Lanai:
This is like looking at a tree-fern reflected in a botanical glass-house door.
It refracts the imagery, conveys the pattern, without being fully recognisable.
It is a myriad of green shades and twisted (sometimes bulbous) textures.
The vocals are just a shimmer and a twinkle. A paper tissue of emotion in soft, warm air. Wafting away from you. Soon out of reach.
Beyond this is the ant-scratch rhythms. These scrape away to create their own furrows.
Powdery pale-blue vocals with shiny musical wanderings that are full of green textures and spectacular side shoots.
