Southampton (UK) indie synth-rock band Brother Goose have now released their Lone Ranger single.
We had a listen:
Lone Ranger has a simple yet cheerful rhythm and some clever hooks.
Clear and smiley vocals peer above bright guitars and a whirling buzz.
As a confection, this is as fruitilicious and wickedly smooth as a pulsed-up tropical health-shake!
The chorus is reminiscent of early 1970’s Slik (the doomed project pre-Ultravox) —
It has that combined, dancing energy and quixotic eagerness we associated, back then, with Midge Ure.
