The new single “33’s And 45’s” by British hard rockers VEGA comes from their upcoming album, Battlelines, which will be available on September 8th, 2023 via Frontiers Records.
The VEGA project began At the Z Rock Festival in Dudley in May 2009, when Nick Workman, Dan Chantrey, and twins James and Tom Martin met together.
The Martin brothers had played in several bands before, and had written songs for various outfits, many on the Frontiers label, including Khymera, Danny Vaughn, Joe Lynn Turner, House of Lords, Ted Poley, and Tommy Funderburk.

So they discussed forming a band with Frontiers management, proposing Nick Workman as lead vocalist.
Their first album Kiss of Life was quickly penned and recorded and released by Frontiers on 6 December 2010.
In order to generate their distinctive sound, the 2009-formed band didn’t shy away from dabbling their fingers in an assortment of musical subgenres. “The process to write, record and finish the songs has been the most pleasurable experience I have had since I started writing and producing. I feel we have upped our game and I couldn’t be happier with how “Battlelines” turned out. We can’t wait to take it on the road,” said drummer & producer Pete Newdeck.
