Following their February 2023 UK tour supporting Robert Jon & The Wreck, and the July release of their critically acclaimed single “Sweet Maria”, the rising Canadian southern soul, roots rock band BYWATER CALL have now released a fresh single, titled “For All We Know”.
The group, which was founded in 2017, is spearheaded by vocalist Meghan Parnell and guitarist Dave Barnes and has been nominated for numerous Blues Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Best Female Vocalist for the 2023 Awards Season.

“For All We Know” is a retrostyled Americana-inspired rock-gospel number about discovering your own inner guidance and taking chances on pursuing what you want, no matter what barriers hold you back, whether they’re inside and out. The video (shared below) was filmed & recorded at their friend’s barn studio; producer, multi-instrumentalist, and engineer Kevin Howley, in the countryside of Ontario.
As the song develops from being simple, sensitive, and questioning to becoming a fully-fledged hymn of contented, glad, and jubilant redemption, Meg’s crystal-clear voice shines through the veil of self-doubt. This is healing and restorative!
